Wait, wait! Are you guys using the original Tjecu MINI900 tool or the CN900mini clone tool? It's becoming more confusing with these clones each day...
Hmm... I notice certain online stores describe original Tjecu mini900 as ND900 mini. There's even a comparison with HandyBaby which states the Tjecu product is currently better assuming the price.

Actually the tool named CN900mini is a clone of the original CN900 Tjecu tool. So there's a clone. It can't be updated and won't be able to clone G chips.

Mini cn 900 is made by by developer of cn 900 tjecu and can be updated just look on their web page .

I don't know this is original or clone and who is manufacturer

It is better to make the update using windows xp with good Computer even using virtual machine.
I make it by windows 7 not works ( says you are have the last update).
At the end i know that the update complete succeffuly only using windows XP (even i was using virtual machine).
I updated with not very quick laptop using virtual machine (windows server and windows xp), every time it stop at the last step, i can open the device at the new version and it can decode 46 and i recognize 4D become more better but i loose G decoding (it gives error).
So i try to repeat the update again and again without change, last time i use windows server (virtual machine) it hangs in the first step, and the firmware is corrupted, i cant open it again completely - the sreen is always black

I tried many attempts to update it again without success (give firmware update fail error).
So i sent the device for reparing and i am waiting it now.

i just tried on a friends mini
same as solitaire
when i press update it says this is not mini

If you connect a genuine tool you will be able to update it but if you connect a clone you won't get update. What else did you expect?

There is more information of users who own the manufacturer, this is not a good thing. It shows that the manufacturer not has no concern with post sale.
