    Default Help Buying Openbox V8s

    Hi.
    Looking for replacement for my Dreambox 800hd which died recently.
    I have vu+ solo2 in the living room and I used to have db in my son's bedroom. Single tuner receiver will do me.I'm looking at GENUINE OPENBOX V8S (Newer Version of V5S) from amazon.it's less than 40 pounds.
    It's cheap BUT is it good?
    Thank you for any advice or information.

    Just one answer to your question

    VU = openbox =

    Its gets you there .......but S**t

    Go for a cheap Zgemma E2 system as close as you will get to the 800 for peanuts

    You have spent your money wisely, these are not crap boxes, maybe not as good as a genuine VU Solo or Solo2 etc
    but are good value for money

    That's how most people learn =Hard way

    Because they don't research what there buying before spending there cash.........
    (sorry to rub this in)........but for the ?150 you spent you could have a decent box 4 times faster including the other part you mention

    and a hole lot more with a box that is an E2 system
