This is what I do, can't remember when I last did a software update on my H2s, as all I need to do is update the ABM config files, rescan and all my channels are there again.

Anyway I'm up and running again with your image here .
Is there any reason to update or indeed any reason not to update even if its green status ?

    Thanks
As the software update was showing green light thought I'd do an update and as you stated the update breaks the image and your Zgemma fails to boot, flash the lastest vanilla openatv image and the zgemma boots correctly, so my backup image isnt compatible with the new software, easy to fix I just need to rebuild an image. However, crossepg 0.6 & 0.8 both dont work with the new images, so it looks like the future image will have epgimport and the EPG plugin.

I will make a new backup image over the next couple of days, but not to day as I'm nursing the hangover from hell.

Happy New Year and I hope your hangover gets better .... you can always postpone it by having the "hair of the dog" .
I look forwards to your new image though as I did try to do mine from scratch but kind of got nowhere .

    Thanks

Hi Martin using this image on all of my boxes.
Just a quick question when it boots up it never goes to previous channel or a fixed channel.
Any idea how I can change this as I've had a look and can't find how to do it cheers.

Press the 'Fav' button and scroll to your channel you want to startup from, press 'Menu' then select 'set as startup channel'

Hi Martin used this image a few times lately for Vermin but today in Fav ive only got Hd and fta in bouquets.
    There's no selections like entertainment/sport/movies.
For some reason they're all grouped together.
Any idea how I can get the categories back cheers

Ensure your ABM settings are as per the pictures attached, mine only shows Sky UK, you will also have to do the same for cable side as well, obviously change 'scottich east custom' to 'your area custom'

    ABM1.jpg
    ABM2.jpg

    Then
    Delete Bouquets
    Start Scan

This is on a Cable set up so other than put net id in you can't pick an area like you can with Sly.
All the times I've done it before it put the proper categories in order.

I've picked 00008 which is Nottingham but it only creates 2 bouquets. Hd and fta only.
    There's no sports/movies/factual etc

Settings should look like this. Obviously change the region to suit. Pay attention to the option highlighted in the second screen 20170118_211412.jpg20170118_211440.jpg

That's how it is so I can't understand. I did put No into Sections and it created 3 bouquets.
Think when I get a minute will reflash and see if that sorts it.
