    Default probook 6560b battery charging problem

    hello,

    i have a problem with my noebook probook 6560b,battery appears to charg but it does not,it stays only 40%,i tested the battery on other notebook it works.

    Anywhere that can help me to find a solution

    Look up HP hard reset to resolve hardware or software issues. Alternatively testing and calibrating the battery using HP system diagnostics.

    a flash a new bios,i mean harder as this method are nothing,but this problem still stand again

    I saw this on hp site may or may not help you.

    I was able to fix it by doing these steps.

    Device Manage -> Batteries - Uninstalled Microsoft ACPI-Complient Control Method Battery -> Removed my battery from my laptop - waited about a minute -> put it back in and scanned fo hardware changes.


    Computer is now charging!
