    Default planed recordings

    hi guys, Iam new to this box so go easy , Is there anyway of settin a planed recording? I dont mean for like 2 days in advance I mean the same day, I have tryed all the ways I know but nothing seems to work.

    any help would be great..cheers.

    Doesn't help when you know nothing.

    First thing to learn is the name of your box. Should be an easy on for you as they normally put the name on the front or may be a little harder if the name is on a label on the back. Either way its a good place to start.

    Once you know what you have, other may be able point you in the right direction.

    oh no, what a daft thing for me to do,,, I thought I put the box name.its a openbox v8s.

    I have not spent much time with a v8s but its very similar to all openbox and skybox.

    Go into the menu an go through the the catagorys until you see one with timers in the list. You shoud get a list with 8 timers saying Off. Select one and go down the options setting them as you go. Select record on the wake up then set the start time and finish time.

    Make sure you have a storage device in the usb.
