Silly question but I have to ask......Are you unpacking the file to the usb ?

So the file on the usb is a .abs file & not a .rar file ?

I have the same issue, my firmware on the the box i just got is 3511HD_30_09_2015_0326
I have tried a couple of different firmware and all i get is harware mismatch.
Do you need to rename it ? or does that make a difference
I too have made sure its the .abs file

No need for any external links download sites can easily be found with Google, Or simply just attach firmware to your post.

    OP try one of these:

Related ish. I was making a bootable USB drive to install linux in a PC with no CD-ROM. It all went well and would not work in the computer. USB showed up as fine and dandy when checked but decided to tray another anyway. Worked first time so might be worth using another USB stick if you are having problems. Do USB have data transfer rates like a SD card? Could be the problem.
