Default Reset the SAS (steering angle sensor) in SAAB 93 (year 2004)

    Hello:

I have a problem with my SAAB 93.
The display of the car show me a problem with the ESP. And them I plug my OP-COM in the OBD interface and the problem is in the SAS (steering angle sensor). In other forum of SAAB of Spain that I have register I found a posible solution: dismount the CIM and the SAS and clean it. This was link of a OPEL forum.
When dismount the SAS I can see that the sensor is a pair of Hall sensor, and this is practically clean, but really this kind of sensor can't be affected by dust or fuzz, and I has know this before I no had dismount the CIM.
But the real problem become when I mount a CIM: I need to calibration a SAS.
The OP-COM to this operation request me a PIN code, password o similar. In this forum there is a lot of people that gives a PIN code for SAAB models, but also some people said that this operation only can be made with a TECH 2.
There is a web that provide PIN code for several brands, its cost 25?, but I would not like pay this money for nothing.
And my question: Is it possible to calibrate the SAS with op-com or I need a Tech2?

    Thanks.

With Tech2 you don't need a PIN code.
Saab doesn't have PIN code like Opel.

Here is the procedure with Tech2:
Calibrating the steering wheel angle sensor
    Note
The wheel alignment must be correct before calibration is carried out.
    1. Put the wheels straight ahead.
    2. Connect the diagnostic tool.
    3. Select Steering Angle Sensor Calibration. Follow the instructions displayed.
    4. Read and clear diagnostic trouble codes.
    5. Test drive the vehicle.

    Thanks a lot Raider20.
I want avoid go to the official service because they directly go to change the CIM. When I called them two weeks ago they said me the price intermediately: 700€, at the moment.
It seems to I have no other solution than to go to O.S.
