My card with TMCF: 00 8A 48 54 is detected as pcf7961
and card with pcf7941 is TMCF 00 80 04 83
SYNC is little different in some cards and I think is not important.
Have you tested it on Laguna III? or Koleos?

And question - have you tried to UNLOCK this card with know PIN/crypto data, after programming to the car?

I coded in a card to a 2015 Renault kaleos
With avdi card worked but remote not , it read as a 7952 , is this the wrong card for car or could it be procedure error, we left key in slot as it was a virgin key probably from china , avdi instruction not so clear, or must this have a dealer card
Need to sort this as customer wants full working card

Card with pcf7961 tested and yes can be unlocked with known ISK. this card shell is sized like original - can fit into reader.
Card with pcf7941 too thick! cannot fit into reader (tested on ScenicIII) Beware, do not buy.
Please someone test pcf7961 into lagunaIII if remote work. and report. we need more info.



I also bought some time ago "original" card to SIII with silver logo, it came with pcf7952. I added to car - remote didn't work! but before programming I read this card data and also unlocked it with known ISK, so dont be afraid testing it. you can always unlock.
With FVDI/VVDI2 it reads all full data from new card, but do not use EFFI ! it cant read page 0,1,2,3 data! Look into picture

You need to ask seller to read transponder and send you pic before buying. Because many sellers they dont know what they are selling! But they have acces to read a key and make a picture for sure.

like Chinese cards , when you push butons -> Synch ligne of remote configuration -> data change !

This reading is from original card, all original number under battery cover, "continental" and numbers. I doubt its china card.
