I used a UCH-N2 to get an ECU+UCH+keys from a "waiting for engine parts clio" I have here at home so I can have at least one of them running.

The original faulty ECU+UCH still needs testing with another UCH and then I was going to try to maybe like you said virgin the ECU and recode everything if necessary. But do you really mean grind it open?

    Yea he does..

A short trip to scrapyard and injector recode is your cheapest/fastest/easiest/low tech option..

    Hi,
    here you go.
I use an eeprom remover which is at an angle.
So you may want to cut the hole nearer the edge, but you get the general location

Fill first line and the first half of the 2nd line with ff then prog injector codes.
Back up eeprom before you start.

The injector codes are 12 digits long
They are hex so 1- through to f
zeros have a line through so can look like 8's
    B's can look like 8
The injector code fine tunes the fuel delivery.
If you don't code the injectors the car will normaly start but not rev.
Clip will let you print out the existing codes which is worth doing as the labels with the codes on get damaged.
You can get away with a valid code even if its not actualy for that injector.
You may need to prog with/without aircon as well, I can't remember. This tells the car hydraulic or electric power steering - with aircon = electric pump under wing)

Hello! Finally found the time to try to fix the ECU! I've changed the first lines to FF trying to virgin the original ecu file, but it kept the same symptoms, did I did something wrong or the fault is somewhere else?

Here is the original and the virgin (from the original):

    original_renault_clio2_ddcr_25080.rar
    original_renault_clio2_ddcr_25080_virgin_manual.rar

Should I try another DDCR ecu file? and which one?

Thanks for your help so far...

Think your ecu got hardware issues, just bin it, or use it for educational purposes purposes

I just want to be sure it's gone bad. I already have a set of keys and two UCH paired with this ECU

    Yeap, is bad...
Use an angle grinder on it and try to resolder the plug
A failure will not appear till a unit has passed final inspection
