Just for refernce, if you throw one of them ecus in a fire
to burn the plastic for scrap ally, the board is quite heat residtant
you will also get some polish bloke hanging out a window moaning about burning plastic
Interesting! The plastic bit has the plugs, and the metal bit has the circuit board glued to it, and the contacts between the plug and circuit board are soldered...

I only did a small hole in the back, as suggested, to copy the 25080 before. To open the whole thing is trickier

Can anyone tell me an exact 25080 DDCR virgin file so I can test it for one last time?
Or
Should I remove the serial vin number from the 25080 file? Virgin wasn't supposed to have the serial number, right?

Hello again...just bought two DDCR from scrappy. He didn't have any DDCR+UCH, so I bought one DDCR and he gave me another in a very bad shape!

The one on the left has a VIN: VF1KMR20533924251 , apparently from a Megane 2 with 100bhp (very good condition)
The other one has this VIN: VF1SBR8EF33230147, from a Clio 2 (bad condition, battery acid was spilled on top of it)
I've picked one among many without even knowing from which car they came from, only it was a dCi engine because they didn't knew much more either. When I got home I plugged them and try to test for faults and found out the VIN numbers.
Can I copy the original 25080 into any of them and it will eventually work, or should I buy another? (he warned me for no returns policy on cheaper prices like this one )
The original one was VF1BB07CF2929XXXX, HOM8200129063 DDCR 80944J, so does anyone knows if it is the same hardware components? Will it be necessary to copy anything else like maps and such?
Thanks in advance!!!
Eh, just cut them open, leech vergin file
code injectors, then do what mungo jerry would.
drink and a drive, if it runs fine, do what beatles would and leave it be

Hello, bad news I'm afraid...none of them worked.
Both of them have the eeprom data I had in the old one, the rest remained the same.
megane.jpgThis one has the immo light fixed on and "serv" light came up after pre-ignition. The engine wouldn't even try to start.
clio.jpgThis one all lights turned off except the yellow coil (injection) so I assume that the injectors couldn't be recognized?
Any ideas what should I do? A friend told me not to flash the first one because I could brick it since it's a different version, the second one is in bad shape and can't inject fuel even though the engine rotates....
Help would be much appreciated!!!
Clio BB07 65 bhp
Shame dk rules prevent selling in the open forum, otherwise could sell you a stolen cycle
weird, do the hokey cokey with ign key, on/off then do the conga
ign on, look for the dc cook sign and red immo led going out

Trust me, is way cheaper in the long run to find a complete set with key/bcm /ecu...
That ecu is the same in different models with different powers, different immo ,different sensors and so on...
I always try to find a donor car and take the parts that i need
Hate when i have to search in a box full of ecu's not knowing if i pay for a working part or for a wheel stopper...
A failure will not appear till a unit has passed final inspection

I agree, but the place I went didn't have any keys, uch and ddcr paired, only a box full of ecu for me to choose...
I might pay the same guy a visit and ask if I can plug it into my car and try to read the VIN number to see if it's at least similar before buying anything. Either that or search the ebay for a good deal.
As for the ones I bought, a friend will have a look at it, but it's not looking good. I might try to flash it, might brick it...or not. Megane with 100bhp is a bit different to use the same flash in the 2003 clio.
