Maybe he's just another yes man like those before. I do ask why didn't they give him job long ago? Do you think the best players always get played or just those in favour?

Yeh, but that's all he's ever been good at! Back to basics, punt the ball up the park, don't fanny about and don't get beat.

Is that good enough for International Football?
He who laughs last probably didn't get the joke.

" don't fanny about and don't get beat." ....................that would be a bit of a step up from where they are at the moment ...

it was a tongue in cheek statement on par with the comedic performance of our over rated prima donna footballers, who like your good self would also not see the parallels

as to it being good enough for international football was my comment funny enough to get me a start in the edinburgh fringe???

it has long been stated that the shirt and ties coupled with certain elements of the press have picked the team for years giving credibility to that statement by how newspapers print the squad several days in advance of fixtures.as for sam being a yes man time will tell, some ex players wax lyrical about his man management skills and his forthright manner which will hopefully hold him in good stead in his new role.

at the end of the day though i sprinkling of reality is required towards our fortunes as a world football force,we are at best the second best team in these shores and quite possibly an argument could be stated third is possibly more true.i wish him well.

Having experienced fringe 'comedy', I'd have to say 'yes' I'm afraid.

Well someone was making it up during the recordings. I suppose when you have lots of money a) You're a target b) It appears some want more money no matter how they get it c) Always be careful who you speak to d) Don't be greedy.......
