You need to do the kamikaze hack in order to unlock the drive. Look at post 2 for more info

to flash my liteon drives do i need to buy this kit? Xecuter CK3 Pro + CK3 Probe No Solder Addon (Bundle Offer) - CK3.CO.UK
and is this all i need apart from software

No its the interface between pc and xbox dvd drive. You dont need the x360 but i'd recomend 1 stops all driver issues with windows and via 6421 freezing
