    Any plans to come with some small product which has a 12V battery included?
    And can connect up with to the 12V output in the vehicle.
    To match the A4.

    Don't need a large screen. Just Bluetooth and USB to a Android Ipad/Iphone Winphone. And an APP.
    Price should be about 2K. Gives online updates. And would be a long lasting product.
    So there would be a real budget alternative, to the CN non update copies with poor software/firmware. Which break decoders whenever it feels like it.
    Nice to have a machine who could do the job out in the field, which is not to pricy. And you know you can trust each time.

    I did mention the same a long time ago, when the mini was just released. But at that time, I guess it was enough to develop and get rid of all bugs from the new release.

    Isn't that pretty much the specification of an XC-mini used with an inverter (but no built in battery)?
    * Small size that can put in your van
    * Can be updated online
    * Bluetooth and app to use with Instacode (Not tried this yet)
    * Reasonable sized display
    * Used with an inverter you can power from a vehicles 12V supply
    * Price thereabouts of what you said (Depending on what currency you mean) - it is around £2150 (plus cost for an inverter)
    * Slightly heavier than the A4 but

    Is there any need to come out with yet another machine for them to try work on software updates when the other machine still isn't 100%?
    I like my XC mini and would hate to see the work on updating the software slow down further because they are rushing ahead to release another machine.
    Better to have one good working machine than several half a$*d types. Maybe there are some hardware improvements they can make to the XC-mini?
    Just my opinion, don't know what everyone else thinks.

    Personally i don't transport my machine around, it is kept at my Garage office, and I can't really envisage there being any problems putting it in a van other than having to buy a good inverter. Maybe there are good reasons for an alternative machine that i haven't acknowledged due to my lack of experience.
    Do you have an XC-mini? Just wondering what further improvements you would maybe suggest to this model?

    I have another machine with standard power.
    And I don't like to move it around.
    The risk is to damage it in some way. Or loose it.
    Is not worth it.

    Blades are small things.
    It should be possible to make these machines really small, if you don't need a screen.
    Not larger than a 12" laptop, and weight without battery about 5kg.
    The design is there. It is just to scale everything down.
