Looks like a mirror image .....
Hi,
I found a bug today. I tried to cut code Z4213 onto HU100 for Vauxhall. I put code into Instacode Live, and sent it to XC-mini (Km03 on v 4.0.3). It cuts incorrectly. If I use XC-mini internal database, it cuts correctly. Please see attached picture.
I would have sent it via PM but couldnt see how to attach the pic.

Having problems with hu83 blades
But only in the ignition?
The genuine key works door and ignition
The keydiy hu83 blade works the doors with a slight notch but the ignition doesn’t work at all?
Tried both a 7 cut and a 7 cut ext
)so the extra cut)
Tried cut by code
Tried correct and cut!
Still no luck?

I have owned the Xc mini for about a month, love it, I’m new to making keys and mostly just do it as a hobby as I’m a Bmw enthusiast and just one more thing to learn about the vehicles.
One questions might be right in my face but when i enter database key code HA00004416 example I’m given 2 choices (see image), how do I know from the code which I choose? I’ve gotten lucky all this time choosing the first one but recently comparing key cut to original last vehicle was the 2nd choice. Thanks for any help,

yeah those are the two options i got when i cut that vehicles key, luckily i was making a spare key so when it didnt work, i compared the working key and that's when i noticed it was different, for a moment i thought i either 1. entered the code wrong, or 2. someone has previously changed ignition. i went back to XC mini to double check the code and sure enough, it displayed two options, i chose the 2nd and that matched the correct key cut. now i match the key to the cut before cutting key, but in a all key lost situation, im afraid ill be in a gamble to choose one. unless theirs a way to choose the correct one?

Carry mechanical keys to cut so you don't mess up a more expensive key
Exactly, the keydiy blades are very cheap, add a pair of mole grips and you can easily test the cutting.
