Default Peugeot 508 hybrid non starter

Hi everybody, I have in my shop a peugeot 508 hybrid 2.0 diesel, which starts and stops after a second or 2. Long story short, the car has initially a problem with a ball bearing from reversible alternator. The owner has tried to change that bearing and after that has many errors and the car was in limp mode. He decide to change the reversible alternator, with a new one, the car runs , no limp but only on diesel and errors on dashboard. After he arrived in my shop I try to erase the errors, and now the car starts and stops. I have the following dtc :
    on ecm dcm3.5 I have
U1288 invalid reversible alternator torque value sent by the hybrid management ecu 2
P0215 main relay, poor operation of the relay, the ecu ls not being supplied as it should

on hybrid ecu 2 I have
p1664 engine torque information fault (security level 2)

on hybrid ecu 1 I have
P0215 main relay, poor operation of the relay, the ecu ls not being supplied as it should
U12c6 Length error or prohibited value of the frame from the hybrid ecu 2
U1286 Length error or prohibited value of the frame from the hybrid ecu 2
P1AC4 Failure of the activation of the electromotor sub assembly

Can anyone tell me what is happening with that car?

    Thank you
    Sorin

    Hi,

I've got the same problem, on hybrid ecu 1 I have
P1AC4 Failure of the activation of the electromotor sub assembly
As an owner states, problem have begun after ball bearing change in alternator. I've tried to go through alternator replacement procedure but I've got
"Initialisation of the programming the electric drive machine impossible
programming of the electric drive machine and of the reverse alternator not carried out"

tehnosoftex, does you client solve the problem?

    Wink

So an alternator bearing will make the hybrid more expensive overall to run than a 5 litre V8 with the dealer repair cost

Hi, sorry for not updating this thread, I forgot that I post it. The end of the story, the car was solve on the dealer only with online functions. The customer told me that the dealer go online with France and starts the car in about 20 minutes. It seems that for newer cars we cannot do anything without online functions.

    OFF TOPIC:-

last week i had an argument with a peoueot car, so i rung HQ here in UK Coventry,
"need to speak to dealer" i said they wont know the answer to my questions
as they didnt make it! Pending calling dealers asking why such kak ideas

not helping enviroment towing "good" cars everywhere

    OFF TOPIC:-

read on an INFERIOR website about jcb service lights, needs to
go to dealer for reset, great reply, i now use it explaing to customers

"the nearest dealer is a seven hour boat ride away"

    OFF TOPIC EVEN MORE:-

so what happens when fire deptment donate old fire engines etc to third world countrys?

    ON TOPIC:-

Hi, I don't know what the dealer charge for, but the customer need to tow the car to the capital, about 250km away, because in my town the dealer wasn't able to do it, may be because in here we have only peugeot dealer and not citroen.
