Fallout 4 PS4 Mod is still under review with Sony and BethesdaUPDATE ONE: Bethesda have shared a new update on Fallout 4 PS4 Mod Support, which could raise fresh concerns about the feature's launch.
Fans have been waiting to find out more on when the new modding action would arrive on the PlayStation 4 console - Xbox One fans have been enjoying player-created content for a long stint.
"We?re working w/ Sony on Fallout 4 Mod support for PS4," an official Fallout 4 message on Twitter reads.
"The process is still under evaluation. As soon as we learn more, we will share news."
The wording would suggest that PS4 mods support has at least made it to the testing stage, although it is well known that it encountered several issues before its canceled Closed Beta launch in June.
Bethesda's VP, Pete Hines, also shared his own update on Fallout 4 Mods on PS4, clarifying a few facts about what was holding back the new feature.
"I didn't say there were any problems," he tweeted.
"Just that the process is still under review."
Hines has been discussng the PS4 delay with fans regularly on Twitter in recent weeks, trying to explain why there wasn't more info on what was causing the hold up.
?We continue to try and get an update so we can share something. we still haven't gotten one,? he replied to fans.
?I don't disagree. We have explained that to "others" so we can get/share an update. so far it hasn't worked.?

Fallout 4 updates this week include Nuka World locations and PS4 ModsThe Nuka-World expansion looks set to be the last from Bethesda, which will add newly revealed locations and content through their final Fallout 4 PS4, Xbox One and PC DLC for the game.
The new DLC is based in an Amusement Park taken over and run by Raiders, which will boast several new zones, including Wild West, Safari Zone, Kiddie Kingdom and the Galactic Zone.
But there will also be other places added to the Pip-Boy Map, including Synth Head, The Hub, The bottling Plant, Monorail, Raider Settlement and Vassal Settlement.
One new feature that will be coming to the game will be the ability to use Raider Gangs to take over settlements, it is currently unclear how this will work and how in-depth this new mechanic will prove.
Bethesda have already said on many occasions that Nuka World would likely be the last piece of DLC launched for Fallout 4, although director Todd Howard has mentioned in the past that it is more up to the team.

Fallout 4: Nuka-World

Even though that might be the case, Fallout 4 voice actor Courtenay Taylor appears to have confirmed that her time with the game is up.
Posting on Twitter, Taylor wrote: ?Thanks a million Bethesda Studios and all Fallout fans - what a ride...I'll miss you!?
The Steam Mobile App reported listed the times for Nuka-World?s debut as August 30, the last week of the month and the final day it could launch and still be on time.
While screenshots have been taken of the accidental leak and it may be worth taking this latest rumour with a pinch of salt - it could simply be a placeholder date that was never meant to be seen by the public.
Fallout 4 fans on PS4 have been anxiously waiting for a new update from Bethesda on when they can expect the mod feature to rollout.
Having been officially delayed in June due to technical difficulties, further information has yet to be announced.

Last week saw a small tidbit of comfort released by Bethesda?s Pete Hines, who confirmed that the modding problems encountered on PS4 would be sorted before the release of Skyrim: Special Edition in November.
?No. Skyrim SE won't be delayed. I expect any holdups to be resolved long before then,? Hines tweeted.
It can be hoped that Hines? reference that mod support would be sorted well before November could mean an update arriving from Bethesda on the subject very soon, although no firm release date is known yet.
