i have a few quetion about smok:
The additional licences is connected to the multitool uhds serial?
When the battery is dead in the uhds and the dallas (i don't see bcose the battery but i think it's a DS525FS) is erasing itself.
We have to re-buy all modules or they stored somewhere too? The security reprogramming is free of charge? This stone age dallas security is a joke? (cmon we live in the XXI century javacard, gemalto TOP...etc)
Sir, are you classified as human? Negative, I am a meat popsicle
Okay let's talk
I don't want to crack the dallas. It's simple a bad security choice bcose the backup battery. If depleted, damaged or simply bad the dallas erasing itself. And this point the whole box is garbage until the dallas is reprogrammed. And it's a stone age stuff.
About the cracking
You can protect your sw with proper security technics like licenced Themida with own virtual machine and with a good javacard 2.2.2 implementation
You can protect your interface box from cloning with a good choice of micro like XILINX and a smart card combo
You can protect your connection between your box and your sw with RSA APDU.
BUT The only valuable info is going to unprotected via OBD to the car and this point no need to crack anything. Just buy some stuff like this and capture the valuable data and sell to the chinese
