Did one last week, same ecu smok was not able to do it.

Finally finished job with good old VDC (vag dash can).

Just copied eep, flash you cant write on desk, due to immo active.
You can make immo off in eep, write flash and after that make immo on again.

I agree I would like to know who the actual developer is as it seems everyone is just buying new functions without the R&D

We have one forummember who could put some light on this, but it is his decision to stay in the dark. Lets just say that maybe one initially cloned/bought it and put it public (guess who). From that point all other companies had a hint where to look for a solution. If you know the process of programming these dashboards in detail (not just "a bootloader is used") then this hint that smok put public was sufficient.

Something not clear to me when need to replace edc16 ecu

1. Present Component Security (6 bytes) of ECU
2. Present PIN code (always must be write in format 5 digits) of ECU
3. Power class of ECU. If we don't know power class of ECU program automatically find it and inform us what is this value.
4. New (target) Component Security 6 bytes (same as in Immo System in car)
5. New (target) PIN Code (same as in Immo System in car)
6. New (target) VIN Number (same as in Immo System in car or can be another)
7. NEW Immo ID ( target). (same as in Immo System in car or can be another)

After preform operation ECU store new Immo data and automatically learn MAC1.
Next step is go into Immo3 ( or Immo4 depend car system) and change Immo data in Immo module. This operation is necessary for learn MAC2.
After this step ECU is learned to car and ready to use.

After change immo data we must learn MAC . Go into Immo3 option (or Immo4) and with PIN Login to immo system.



It write need to go immo3 or 4 and CHANGE immo data in immo module (is this mean I will change ori immo data in immo module) ????
