Trust me it is not secure, I read this MCU eeprom long time and pin out I posted above , I did it my self not SMOK.
This was 2-3 years ago when SMOK did not have Flash option.
Even if you look at car prog connection there is no coax cable connected .

I read it with X-prog like this Yugo and for now there is only way I can red Eeprom and Flash. X-prog find's Sec Bites and r/w to new chip if it is no China crap. But I will check Your connection when have some spare time Friend.

Good evening, anybody has some experience on smart 453 with smoke? Does it works well doing BOTH dashboard and abs by OBD? Does It works with all the versions of 453? Please let me know if you had any issue because I'm buying it and will have first 453 Friday.

W221 is fine with smok done a few

I manage to do 204, 212 and 221 with smok. Also I manage to kill all 3 with smok as well. Have no idea why it kill, did the cars with stabilizer connected and car still die when blocking sync.

Had to program zgw manually with backup file. Smok cant write back through obd.

Did you write files form Auto save or you did read Eeprom + flash ?

Also in 221 what MCU is in zgw, and is it secure ?

Additional functions:
If you are using the option Write Flash at W221 CMD should remember to then write it to the EEPROM contents orginalna, otherwise you will not be ZGW derived from the programming mode.

Kind of confusing, but looks like need to choose Eeprom to write flash????

Both auto save and read manually gave the same file. For 221, it was fix by a friend with online star. Not really sure what he did. And the funny part was, I tried again to block sync with smok and it worked the 2nd time.

W204 and 212 was mcu in it. 3M25J if I remember correctly. Not really sure how to rate this, it work perfectly sometimes. The support couldn't explain to me what happened but they helped by asking me to write with jtag

Ok,just to inform all of you,I tryed twingo 3 module for smart 453 Brabus 4 doors Xclusive.
It doesnt work, cant read ABS km right, while read dashboard right but when writing it says error writing. Reading Dashboard's Flash is ok. I dont know if I can just read Dashboard's flash and modify it with a second program and then reflash it.
