the USB connection on my SMOK interface fell apart so i took the interface apart and soldered in a new one , i put it back together and now its telling me You must update UHDS interface , when i try to update it it says Flash MCU2 Main DS Error and it wont let me update it , does the smok interface lock out once its taken apart or what is a solution for this

Send back to smok to repair.

Put a new usb connector on mine last week it did the same but was fine have a look at the board when plugged into usb there should be a blue light on the board if not send it back

Smok's interface is very sensitive for cheap usb cables, try one with a better quality.

hi did anyone tested Ford FIGO 2017 Yet with SMOK . i have x-tool it works till 2015
but please can anyone confirm in smok it is working in 2016-2017+ models ?

Ive used in in few caddys and tig as well. Works great. You have to press Read Skey firts. Otherwise wont work

I think this cluster even with working key need to put in service mode( prepare eeprom)

No it does not , but it has security access , which will block reading. I know for sure some CC and Passat cluster will do this and you have to use prepare eeprom functions.
