in regards to keeping your UHDS in good working order and not damaging the flash mcu inside a good quality cable is required
please dont be fooled into thinking a £30 cable is high quality !!

i found that the blue or purple cables you get with the china tools are spot on
so dont be caught out and have to return your uhds for repair
grab yourself one of the cables asap

here is a pic of the blue ones so you know what im saying

smoks software was for 06.2014–
below this would fail
but he has released a new update now covering the earlier models
with SW 0xxx , 2xxx ,3xxx it is old MQB

only smelecom had these models in the past
but new update shows now covered

Hi, anyone nows if there is any possibility to change kms on VW Passat dash made by JC, I’ve tried smok but after found out that it can’t do Jonson Controls

No tool can do it. Only solution is put km bloker and to switch on/off mileage recording.
