Can anyone help me to find the Update for CarProg

below the Unit IDs

Version CarProg V9.31
SN :081105CAR001773I

lib file attached 081105CAR001773I.rar

what is that .. i got only the device (which is clone i guess ) and carproc V9.31 application./..

so please tell me what do i need to do.. to reset mentioned Airbag modules....

first step is dont use software version 9.31 with that clone carprog has its hardware for v4.01 software only
second step is read all threads to do with carprog and check yours to see what repairs it needs doing to it
third step is to update to 4.74 firmware so you can use 4.74 software or buy fw from somewhere and update to 8.21
only other option you have is to buy a new carprog (version 8.21)

1.I have Downloaded v4.01 software and connected with the device.

and as you mentioned in as a second step .. i downloaded the 4.74...

so it contains

201213CAR000ME61.lib
CarProg-5.31.exe

so what do i need to do ... just run that files or anythin else

No you need to jtag the 4.74 fw to carprog then you can use higher software than 4.01
also look at what repairs your carprog needs
There's carprog threads all over the forum showing what's needed etc

my knowledge of carprog is bit low... can i know do i need to do any changes in my Carprog or can i use my carprog without doing any modifications.

im really sorry if im asking a stupid questions

You can use your carprog to read eeprom without any modification. Use software 4.01. Select EEPROM from the left menu, once it loads, click the settings (wrench icon) in upper left corner and select eeprom series you want to read.

If you are getting a lib file error, just make sure there is the correct lib file in the directory of carprog.exe file. Lib file should match your devise serial number

However, the 52J30 toyota module you need to read renesas 1725 processor. Not even full original carprog tool can read these. You need a programmer such as ETL, Carprotool or SMOK to read these

just corrected my post because for some stupid reason my phone changed jtag to ktag
to put any new firmware on the carprog you need a jtag device to do it most use jlink or wriggler
all info for doing this is on the forum

I do not know what chip is in that module. If it is an eeprom yes. If it is a Renesas mcu, then no
