    Default Iveco Daily 2.3 HPt 2004. Non-start

    Hi all,
I am having greif with the above mentioned Iveco Daily,
I have been asked to look at it for a non start, the previous tech has run a wire to run electric fuel pump, load of fuel getting to filters but not injectors.
I am looking at a way to confirm if the fuel pressure regulator valve is working. Will it show up as working when I put my magstick near the solinoid with cranking.

if it should light up I recon my pressure regulator valve is fault. how can I definately test this valve.

    any help appreciated....

First, the Pressure Regulator Valve on High Pressure Pump can not be repaired unless replaced.
Second, the pressure in the common rail system is about 250 bars until 1600 bar according engine rotation.
So conclusion if difficult start, when the electricity system is good, the possibility of such components problematic.
    i hope this help.
