    Post Noisy fan

    As I have a 5402 box with a noisy fan and I want to replace it can some of you learned people advise me on where I can but one.

    If it's under warranty get them to send you out replacement. Don't have one but have you tried oiling the bearing? You can turn fan off in menu. With box unplugged take fan out look at voltage should be 12v but check anyway. I'm sure fan is 40mm x 40mm and two wires so you can look for one on bay same size and voltage. You may have to use plug from old fan. The lower the dba the quieter the fan. You may even have one in an old box or computer. hth

    The fan is not really needed on this model if you have it stored in a well ventilated area, if you do just go into the menu and switch the Fan off permanently

    ​Agreed I have tuned my fan off and is not a problem.
