i no m8 but I've ask for egr off and some body is offer him self after post the file no answer way offer your self if you don't want help .

Can you please turn off egr on this map, 09 VW Touran 2.0 TDI PD BKD 140 no DPF EDC16 u34, I have fitted a egr blanking plate and need to sort out the map,I have tried it myself but this is beyond my skill level.

Tried the one with the checksum ok, the fault still there!

if not work disconect egr

Thanks jelmer52, tried both but same problem, p0401 comes up strait away
I can disconnect the egr but dont think it will make a diference, I have fitted a blanking plate
I'll do it tomorrow to see if I get any other fault codes

edit: I have sorted it, I have done a map with volta and it seems to have worked, the egr duty cycle is now a constant 95.5% and the fault code hasn't come back, I'll drive it a few more days and keep an eye on it.
