i accidentally corrupted my chevrolet utility /montana cluster 160d/35160 eeprom file idid the backup as 35080 so i only managed to backup part of it only ,iwas trying to correct the mileage ,ihave done a few already ,i have succeeded without issues ,now on this particularly one i made the mistake of reading it incorrectly as 35080,instead of 35160/160d is there away to correct this or use the file i have to build up another cluster eprom file so the car can start again ,it won't crank at all only flashing immobilizer light on cluster /dash
tools i used R270 cas4bdm reads writes perfectly ,also have opcom connects via obd ,have tried to program the cluster or immobilizer to ecu ,it will ask for the pincode i insert it as i can see its still on corrupt file ,opcom accepts the code but fails to program ,imo,cluster not sure why as it doesn't state why probably a gm tech 2 could work but no access to one
would have been easier to just relearn the instrument cluster to the car,would an immobilizer off work
