No, the Key Diy remotes will not work with it.

The remotes are similar but have different firmware and a completely different PCB layout.

Reports from users so far suggest they are not working properly either, doesn't matter how cheap or expensive they are, if they don't work they are a waste of money.

Ok my vvdi key tool landed today!
    At last!

    Looks good...

remotes are diffrent from key diy (see pic)
also gives option to make remote my wireless
    (doesn't work yet or wire)
uses the same connector as key diy
wrote a window down ford 433 ok
    but not tested

tried to write to a nb att 36 remote (key diy)
    but didn't work..

4d clone calculation a bit slow (4 mins)
    honda id48 not supported
    audi id48 not supported
    if 46 generated with a 7936 or a sn02 chip

I want to test what it writes id12 id11 chips to
(hopefully t5) but I didn't get any cloner chips with it
so will have to wait till next week!

If if anybody wants any other testing done then just ask here....

    looks good!

Are those new keydiy ones? I've been shifting over to xhorse (programmed with vvdi2 as that works) as they feel better quality. I also like how the wireless ones can be programmed without plugging them in.

Yeah they are key diy type,
looks like they changed over to a updated version inline with chose!

Also so I believe keydiy are bringing out a
nb - for all to replace the nb 36 nb - 46 nb xtt ect

did a Mazda 3 no problems at weekend
but I do miss the simulate function of key diy!
but the menus are much much better!

So they have just announced that the Chinese/English machine is now Chinese only.
Nice on for all the early adopters to have to either buy another tool or learn Chinese.

Same as the remotes I bought months back. When I bought them and realized that they didn't work I was told they would work with future updates for European market. Now I'm told they're for Chinese market only.

I bough the remotes to work with VVDI2 last year. At the time I was told to wait until English was added to VVDI2 and then they would work.

    Spot on.

Why did my VVDI keytool display English when I bought it but now it only displays Chinese?
The language menu was intentionally removed.

Why is the English version more expensive than the Chinese version?

They will fix Lang version after new update , I have few EU also with China lang already
Regarding price - price depend seller .
To get item to EU , must pay higher shipping cost , tax etc.
also if you not use US $ there is exchange rate too
price in China is about 300-400$
in EU (EU model) cost about 300€

I do not think that is a correct excuse, if you pay in euros you get benefits in exchange for dollar, euro going up, the sending indicates the seller + with machine, unless it is free to send america, customs and tax is paid in destinations . Personally think that they are a little lost xhorse with this machine, the reason very simple, in vvdi2 have not yet managed to fix the remotes in English language, I will update my machine and I will see the consequences, total now the machine is green in process.
excuse my English, is the best.
