    Hi to all,

I have programed a key for touareg ph1 with vvdi wirless key. The key work fine but sometimes, the remote doesn't work. I think a issue with the rolling code.
Someone already have the same issue?

    Thanks

Debating on VVDI and KD900. I like that VVDI can clone transponder chips and possibly 48 stuff in the future, but mainly need it for preparing remotes for cars. Is VVDI remote coverage spotty compared to KD900? From what I've read over in here it would seem so. Thank you.

Yes, you can compare with KD900 and for me, its more simple to find the correct remote.

Do you mean you have to buy certain remotes to work with certain cars or just easier picking the right remote to program on the KD900 menu?

What do they mean with wired and wireless remote keys? What is the difference?

It means whether you need to connect wires from keytool to remote or not for generating the remote type you want, and the wireless also have built in transponder that can be used for a number of chip types.

Hello garknezz19, I have compared VVDI and KD900, and in the cars that I have made, kd900 is the best to generate remote controls.
I want my comment to be useful.
    Regards.

    Hi, good evening.
Im facing the following issue with Key Tool when trying to unlock some BMWs remotes.
    I had 5 pieces of 5WK49145 868mhz, keyless remotes.
Originally of course they were all locked.
After using Key Tool to unlock then, now I have 3 units succesfully unlocked, but other 2 units after several tries, can not unlock them, always IC error. Now when I read those 2 remotes, seems they have been deleted at all.
Tango and Kay Tool does not even recognize any transponder on them.
Why happens this issue please ??
Is there anyway I can revive those two remotes ??

    Thanks a lot.
    Regards

All 5 are definitely same part number? Are other 2 maybe 5WK49125 with PCF7945? There is some difference you can visually notice, check the key tool manual with the renew wiring diagrams to see both types.
Yes if chip fully deleted won't detect in key tool or other (i've done this by accident in past messing around in VVDI-prog), and you can rewrite the chip with new virgin file using VVDI-prog and the PCF adapter. But of course need to ensure it is remote type 5WK49145 first, or won't work.

    Thanks for reply WRX14.
For sure all 5 boards are the same.
One thing I notice at the beginning was that in all 5 boards in their PCF ICs, its written PCF7953.
All 5 boards comes from remotes cases where 5WK49145, which are supposed to be confort access remotes with 868mhz.
OK, when I read all them with Tango, Tango recognized all them as PCF7945.
Were they not supposed to be PCF7952 or PCF7953??? As they have written on their ICs??

And then, why Key Tool did renew some of them at first try, and failed on two and deleted them.

    Thanks so much.
    Regards
