For sure all 5 boards are the same.
One thing I notice at the beginning was that in all 5 boards in their PCF ICs, its written PCF7953.
All 5 boards comes from remotes cases where 5WK49145, which are supposed to be confort access remotes with 868mhz.
OK, when I read all them with Tango, Tango recognized all them as PCF7945.
Were they not supposed to be PCF7952 or PCF7953??? As they have written on their ICs??

And then, why Key Tool did renew some of them at first try, and failed on two and deleted them.

    Thanks so much.
    Regards
Ok, yeah i had a similar problem last week where both VVDI2 and key tool detect wrong Chip ID's but the opposite way from you (Have 7945, but shows as 7953) - seems they have got the id's back to front in the software. Showed correctly in CN900 mini. I attached some photos of same key in the key tool, VVDI2 and CN-900, you will see on chip it shows 7945 I thought i had posted on the forum when i found the problem, but seems i didn't (or maybe in the VVDI2 thread).

Can't comment on why tango shows other id though, but if you go by whats written on chip and write back the virgin file for 5WK49145, then it will detect transponder again in tango/key tool.

Did you check what tango shows with the other keys now that they have been renewed?

    Muchas gracias.
    Saludos [/ QUOTE]

In the remotes that I unlocked, some died after the attempt,

Some could return to life by desoldering the pcf7941 and with the help of Orange, however others did not resuscitate. I had to replace them. :lagrimas de alegria:

The VVDI key tool upgrade kit V2.3.9 that you refer to is an old version, they changed to combine all tools into one upgrade kit. Once your device firmware version over a certain release no longer detects i believe like you said.
For now upgrade kit V1.2.3 is the latest version (released today).

I'm not sure about how to change the region, did you try contacting the dealer you purchase it from? Maybe they can help or refer you to Xhorse Tech support

Why taken so long? Tryed many times? I had only one succesfull clone id 48 (Golf from 2002) and was cloned in 10 sec. After that came some litle updates and it was not able to do cloning of id48. Tryed with Fiat, DAF truck and Alfa Romeo without success.
