    Default zgemma h2 flashing

    hi all Hi cant get box to recognize usb tried 2 Kingston and 2 sandisk did full fat32 on all nothing box boots up goes all throu to end till screen shows sucumnsee can anyone think of any other way to flash box , can you do it using dcc thanks mial

    You have got the correct firmware for flashing the h2, the majority will require unzipping once downloaded, this will give you a 'zgemma' folder inside that folder should be a 'sh1' folder, owt else and its not the correct software.

    Also when flashing some firmware require you to press the 'standby' button when 'usb' is displayed on the front of the box.

    yes , right image back up sucmnsee I have fully formatted all usb with hddguru and then fully formatted them in windows on pc still no good box doest display anything other than boot which it does any ideas I was wondering if you could ftp image to box using dream box control center any help appreciated mial

    Yes, as your using vix ftp the zip file to /hdd/imagebackups/ (you might have create the folder if needed)

    Then on the remote;
    menu
    setup
    vix
    image manager
    blue to restore

    was there any other usb devices plugged in,if so remove first,then power off box and insert usb.
    i dont see the point in using a non supported openvix image?
