    Default dreamUp wont revive dreambox

    When dreamUp doesnt work what then? It always has in the past, do I need a kind of bare bones image?

    Use JapharFlasher, but be sure the cable is right and on the DM7025 there is a fix on the PSU to change the Capacitors, generally this is the issue on DM7025 and it will be as new after ! 5 ? of capacitor replacement on PSU.

    I think the plus model psu was modified, it goes through the flash procedure but hangs right the end before the final flash from memory. Would it just be dead if capacitors failed? Thankyou, will try JapharFlasher

    Try to flash the image with JapharFlasher with Bad Sector Recovery enabled, as well as go on the BIOS of the box and reset to default (Telnet + IP address). This often got boxes back alive ;o)

    Yes, the PSU could have the 7 capacitors to replace but only if there is "hills" on top of the 4 near the heater.
