Scenic II dashboard fault

Has any one seen this fault?

Scenic II dashboard, all symbol is ON on the left side big display. Unit communicate it with can bus and looks ok, but left side display show everything (full pixel).

If someone has any idea for repair, please let me know.

In those dashes anything can happen...

If you dont know whats wrong with it save your time and buy a used one, copy data and done

It was the display, just replaced from core and its work now.

Did anyone know how to upload language on scenic ii dash?

If i change the eprom data, i can change the language between, english, german, dutch.. but i need to have turkish language.

When i write the eprom from some turkish vehicle backup, eprom is not compatible with european dash :-(

If there is some way to flash complete the microprocessor and eprom, it will be great..

SW8.90? or higher?

from this backups i dont have the units, but i will get in 2 weeks some unit in and i will send you all details with backups

Only way for SW8.90 is to copy the necessary language from a good dash...

Lower SW versios will make the dash crazy...

No way to edit it manually as far as i know...

Had just one of those in my stock...fortunately i needed it in Spanish and got one file that solved the problem...

Mcu is nec that you can only write... so nobody can help you with turkish language if you dashboard don't have it in firmware already.

Ph2 dash has turkish, but not ph1 scenic2 dashboards.

Language data saved in NEC right?
So its mean if i replace the NEC+eproom language will be transfered too.

I get sometimes dashes which was opened few times and i wont spend lot time on it for repair or find out where the fault is...

The problem is that ph2 dash is not 100% same pcb as I know, so nobody can guarantee that it will work if you replace NEC+eeprom, that it will work.

I got v6.02 dash which is in english and i would like to use this dash with v6.01 eprom.

When i write the v6.01 eprom on 6.02 dash and power up, it shows TABLEAU NON CONFIGURE. Its looks like not compatible.

Is there chance to confugure this 6.02 dash language as Turkish?

both eprom attached, if someone has some advice please let me know!

Solved...

I dont know but the another 6.01 TR backup has work on UK 6.02 unit. All is fine!!

Did anyone know where exactly in eprom are the coding for (Patrol/Diesel, Transmission) ?
