VW Touran 2012 couldn't identify IMMO type. Did not like to play with it and try randomly (my guess was NEC24C64) so used other tool for transponder programming but remote programming OK and clear airbag error OK under NEC24C64 menu.

Its only fir olders with eeprom. And you need to take off immo box. Newer immo data is in nec and lonsdor will not work this way.

That's what I thought will work and wanted to try this as soon as I get opportunity after I tried Astra H but under Opel menu and no luck. Then I wanted to try under Chevy next time. Thanks a lot for testing it and for sharing info. So Astra J and other might work too.
