    Don't think it will be something you are doing wrong. After adding key, if you read key data again is the added key showing as remote key?

    Just the frenquency required is populated on PCB.

    i've seen some crap BMW fobs in my time where easy to see solder crossing pins
    and seen many crap cars with C/L faults but not in this case, it sounds like crap key

    3d are normally good and will refund
    I am a FUD

    Thanks everyone for your help.
    I feel it would be unlucky if I've ended up with two duffers from them - thats why I was thinking the problem was me.
    Opened up a 433mhz key from NW - different board with a jumper for each frequency - if I can just adapt that I'll be happy. I'll have a play and report back any findings.
