Hi people , I have a problem with cluster of Land Rover Discovery 2 / 2003year V8 ...I tried to change a mileage ( 93c56 ) and after doing it with Digi Pro and I was use a 93c56s option because I didn't find the correct one. I know now I shouldn't do it but it's done. Now mileage is changed but blinking ?!
Can anyone give me advice or help me somehow? Thanks on your time .

hey PremierD, if you find some free time I have, for me really big problem with this L.Rover .
I took out a BCU module but I don't have installation/software cd to instal CarProg on my Laptop.

I have all connectors for it (carprog) but nothing else except a goodwill to do it correctly.
Can you please help me out with this problem?
I have BCU and Cluster on my desk, I also have a carprog,UPA and DigiProg but don't have enough experience to finish this by myself but I need now to make it right.

---I found how to read the Motorola MC68HC11PH8 AND I saved the file. Can you help me hot to do make new file for that Motorola? i need around 126000 mile.

sonebmw. With the BCU removed, go to the car, switch on the ignition (do not try to start the car), press and hold the trip button until the mileage display changes to kms. Write down the exact kms. displayed. This is the figure which must be programmed into the BCU. I f you don't feel confident to edit your file, post it on here with the exact kms. from the dash and I or someone else will do it for you. Once the BCU is reprogrammed it can be replaced in the car. Press and hold the trip once again to change back to miles and the display will not be flashing. Arthur.

I will try today to do it exactly like you said!
The thing is.... I changed file (mileage) in eeprom 93c56 in cluster and I let him drive like that couple of days because he didn't have a time to wait to resolve the problem. I didn't do anything about BCU at that time because I didn't know.

Now I took of a BCU, I find the way how to read Motorola MC68H111 and I saved the file.
Probably now is one mileage on dashboard and another in BCU.

I will read exactly km from dashboard and I will post BCU file with (unknown mileage in it ) .

nI read Motorola mileage with your help. I make it same on cluster and BCU and when I put all back cluster/BCU it stop flashing on two seconds and start again. I put both on 126103mile.... and one more thing I can't anymore change it on cluster from KM to mileage when I tried to push and hold the button/ nothing happened.

Some times you need to program BCU more than once (not sure why) key to the whole thing is that both mileages are exact. You can also trying making cluster a few KM or miles different from what you wanted and program both units again with exact mileage.

hey Roth18 , first thank you for helping me.

I programmed both of your files just to see what would happen, eprom and motorola and the display stopped flashing so it was all normal. However, the car would not start.
I am assuming that it is because of the file in the motorola hc11.
I don't have a lot of experience with this and am just learning and I read your instructions on how to install but I did not understand the last two bullet points in the instructions you provided and I don't have the WIN CALC. Only tools I have is the UPA and DIGIPRO.
withI am attaching my motorola file and if you can re-program it to 126000 or close to that number and if you can send me EPROM as you send it already the same mileage /126000/same as BCU file and I will try to install them with UPA. Thank you so much, I would greatly appreciate that.
