search in doc of abrites where is stored backup maby U can backup ori eep content and program eeprom by desoldering and that will be everything
Hello guys,
With a friend of mine we did try to code an additional key to the immo (with ABRITES if i remember correctly my friend's tool) and what should have taken 5 mins went into a .DEF clocks cluster.. (we jinxed it by thinking out loud while writing back memory that we should have taken an eeprom dump before using anything, and 2 sec after that, BAM!)
Luckily the Immo is currently OFF and the car is drive-able (except the speed needle is completely haywire and mileage is constant, 0)
Car is A3 2005 make, 140 HP, TDI 2.0. Chassys type: 1K0 (WAUZZZ8P25Axxxxxx)
Mileage: 219240km/136229miles
Instruments are: VDO H73 0300, Rev: D06, Coding: 0004013

Been told that I need a 'virgin' dash dump to try to get things back to normal.
Is it a lost cause?
Thank you.
