well received item used with 35160wt adaptor, says it takes from 5 to 40 minutes to erase, been over an hour then communication and hardware error? dont waste your money.

going try again, after reset the data on chip looks fine, will update

But after expiration, it start to count again and again... Nothing to pay...

I have tried 5 different 35160wt chips and all take over an hour to give the message erase failure. do not was your money

There is no way that you can exchange the eeproms marked as 35160WT without unsecure and dangerous programming of the FUJITSU processor located on the very same PCB.

Why do they sell it for then? They will lose many customers for any other tools.
Put emulator is 15 min so who going to wait that long

I've seen these eeproms for sale, price are £9 each, so no need emulator or erase.

have you used em yourself?

problem with emulators is when bmw do software update, it crashes the dash or fem/bdc if they are in there too, then you get caught, customer loses warranty ?

i am in contact with cgpro to find a solution as they say it works 100%, the cgpro 9s12 works good on 35080 3, 6, vp, 080dq, 160dq. used on cas3 read very fast. have not tried cas4 yet. as i have yanhua mini too for cas 4, but since getting these tools have no cas4 to play with. will keep you updated
