    Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

    Should be EWS? Pick and decode lock. Use AK90 to program 7935 chip.

    the ews box should be behind radio on left hand side and is difficult to remove and refit use ak 90 .

    Freelander is immobox pic sawdoc
    If pic locked ,licence to unlock it 500euro +licence to program chip total around 1000euro
    I

    better to send sawdoc box to specialist with tm pro2

    many will not bother with this system as too expensive kit, and little payback in 2019

    Thanks lads from the info you have mention I told customer to take car else were not easy for me, I may be on this job for few days and if some thing goes wrong I bottled out.

    I think Sawdoc is '06 on? Earlier ones are EWS.

    I have 2005 freelander AKL

    Is still best option to walk away as sawdoc or is any tool now able to do these OBD or anything.
    Tools owned -
    AD100 PRO, Lonsdor, FVDI 18, FVDI 20, VVDI PROG, VVDI2, VVDI MB
    CGDI BMW, SuperVag, Renault ECU tool, OBDstar X300 DP Plus, AUTEL im508
    VVDI Mini Keytool, KeyDIY KDX2, SBB, ACDP CAS/KVM
    Opcom, VCDS pro, Diagbox, Multiecuscan, Forscan, JLR SDD

    In the link above a fellow states there that you can change sawdoc to ews, but need a paired dump (ews + ecu eeprom).

    Best solution for us and the customer(sawdoc system) is to order the key from dealer, and it comes the next day ,and its only £90+vat. so its not worth buying tm pro module,etc.
