Thumbs up How to reform the job of MP

According to this article I think we have from the Tlaxcallan the answer on how to make MP's represent and serve the people

being appointed to political office was no small feat.Candidates were trained warriors, and would have to stand naked in a public plaza while a crowd of people punched and kicked him, according to Science.
Then, they?d be held in a temple for up to 2 years to be starved, beaten with spiked whips when they fell asleep, subjected to bloodletting rituals, and drilled in moral and legal code by the city?s priests.

Recent archaeological breakthroughs have revealed that the ancient Mesoamerican city of Tlaxcallan had somewhat of a senate ? but, candidates running for the position would be subjected to starvation, fierce public beatings, and years of study.

Seem bang on for what I expect as a selection process for an MP

Lock all of them in prison for 5 years the minute they are elected. That way they don't need to claim expenses either.
My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far
Despite the cost of living, it's still very popular.
