MB C250TD Swap EIS+ESL Question

Hi. Its about 1999 Mercedes C250TD, MSA 25.1.


Problem is that when I insert key it won't unlock EIS/ESL, but only lock ESL.


I have another set at me containing paired: EIS+ESL+Key+ECU Eeprom 24c04


I put these in the car, and now I got key unlocked, ignition on, but car won't crank/turn over.


Faults are: B1630 and B1617 (Eeprom).


Original ECU had B58383 (24c02) inside, and eeprom from donor ECU had 24c04. I've tried also to virgin original 24c02, but still the same.


Should I make some adaptations with SD/DAS, or is possible to sync eeprom to work, because I don't have MB device.

M8, mount all your paired set together in Original state and bridged start relais... what is happening?

When I fit paired EIS+ESL and solder paired eeprom 24c04 to original ecu from car, bridge start relay - car cranking but won't start.

m8, dont mixt ECU as you like...
when you dont want to take compatability parts then you need to diagnose your issue...

your problem can be fixed very easy, don't change anything on car, just make new key (small key with NEC is best) and EZS will unlock, or with new set make ECU virgin and personalize it with star, but make shure your new EZS is compatible with ECU, you can swap only EZS xxx xxx 00 08 with xxx xxx 01 08, and 02 08 with 03 08...

SOLVED! Virginized ecu e2p and made adaptation with SDConnect. Regards!
