Default BMW e92 confirm my steps

    Car: BMW e92 from 2007

    Step 1:
Take out dash. Search chip and do with r270 to desire value. Maybe erase, maybe replace chip if secured.

Step 2: Do Cas with DP3 ST16 OBD and set milage to zero.

Step 3: connect dash back to car.

My question: really try CAS with OBD or also use r270. I'm kind of scared to damage CAS.

CAS: if it's not possible with DP3 OBD I would try r270.

Im not sure if my AK500 cable is right. Because pinout colors from picture do not match me cable. So use numbers or colors?

Dash: identify chip and select. Solder pinout.
    But what now? Read,save,write,erase...?!

Default BMW e92 confirm my steps

    Update:
    It's a block CAS3. DP3 can read. So it's possible.

Dash has 080d0wq. It's the same like 35080?

So r270 was able to read and verify 080D0WQ eeprom. I'm wondering why it saves the file every time with a different data number ...
So when I try to erase it stops at 992/1024. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to write 00 in block 0000 and 00010?
Maybe I have to change eeprom but it's my first time and I don't know in which step I have to do that. Can someone explain all steps to write changed milage on a new chip?

Maybe your eeprom is damage. This is normal for 080 eeprom. You must use other eeprom.

080D0WQ is very hard to erase with R270, may need hours to do it, but R270 allways erase it, sometimes is faster when stop and start erase again a few times...
I have one spare 080D0WQ because can't wait R270 to erase it...

So 992/1024 can take very long?
I have bought a new m35080 eeprom but I'm not sure what the steps are to change milage and write on new chip. Could you explain me?

choose M35080 3\6 in R270, place old eeprom in slot, read with r270, change odometer value (red button 'Change Odometer'), then replace eeprom chip with new one and write, if it's not erased need to erase (blue "Erase Odometer") before write...

    Thank you very much!
Where at these steps I can correct milage?
When I press change odometer I can type in old and new milage. So in old the milage from old 080D0WQ chip and new values the milage I want?
