Default Anti-Ageing Drug Could Be Available To Buy In Just Three Years

None of us are getting any younger, but now a pill that reverses ageing could be on the shelves as soon as 2020 as researchers make a ?revolutionary? step forward in anti-ageing technology.

The revolutionary drug has caught the attention of NASA as they hope to defend Mars-bound astronauts against the effects of radiation.

After successfully being used on mice the researchers believe it could be tested on humans within six months.

Lead scientist Professor David Sinclair said: ?This is the closest we are to a safe and effective anti-ageing drug that?s perhaps only three to five years away from being on the market if the trials go well.

Side effect is the need to constantly gnaw things, eg electric cables, brake pipes, old shreds

As much as I don't want to pour cold water on this, how do they know it reverses the aging in mice? Do the mice start having less candles on their birthday cheesecakes?

Apparently a mouse can live up to 2-3 years in captivity generally only 1 year in the wild
"the average mouse lifespan is only about 12 months outdoors, indoors, this number can climb to 2 to 3 years.A typical female mouse can birth between five and 10 litters per year. She can mate immediately after giving birth, meaning mice can birth a second litter in as little as 25 days after the first."
With all them Mice running around maybe they all looked the same ?

that's a bit racist towards mice, don't you think? The PC brigade will have you hung, drawn and quartered until you are seriously unwell if you're not careful.

That explains it all then. Add grey hair, mash up the face a bit with a double decker bus and May really is Maggie with anti-aging. Maggie May eh.
