SS Box Office on cable boxes?.

As we're all probably aware there has been ongoing issues with satellite receivers over the last week or so. Im a satellite box user and have been for years, but I'm just curious how/if this latest encryption/transponder issue (or whatever it is) has effected cable boxes. So if I was to purchase a cable box would Sky Sports Box office still work or has it completely gone for all box types? Thanks

Cable uses a totally different system, it's not affected. BTW, in many Cable areas the ITV PPV channel isn't even encrypted
