Renault Trafic 1.9 Dci body control module, programming?

Hello all,

I'll try to make it short. I am sure BCM module failed and looking to get second hand unit, the question is, what's the procedure to make it work? If I'm right, it has to be "cleaned" and then programmed? Is there no other way i.e. swapping microchips? And programming has to be done with can clip only?

Tried search but nothing clear.

swap the eeprom over to the donor uch, make sure the part number and version number is the same as the damaged one
