Default Box Update Advice Needed BEST Box 2017

With Sly now going Dark I want to move towards VM and update my box.

    1) Ideally something that can have a cable feed (For Normal Channels) and satellite feed (For FTA Channels).
    2) Ideally something that can allow recording another channel while watching different channel.
    3) HD Compatible.
    4) Budget is Flexible around ?300 but consideration will be given to budget versus benefit ratio.
    5) Good to have added features such as KODI, IPTV etc but that's not compulsory

I am very na?ve with technology so please excuse me for my limited knowledge

VU DUO 2, might be a tad more in cost but a superb box, can have 2 duel tuners any combination.

Isn't this box a bit old? How does that compare to Vu 4K? Is there any other box in ?200-?250 mark?

I looked but most of them are selling as Dual S2 Tuners (4 inputs) which you referred as 4 Tuners. Will these support 4 Vermin inputs too?

Yes, the same as all Zgemma's, they do exactly what the Vu+ boxs do at a fraction of the cost you just have to buy an external USB harddrive a 500 gb is more than enough to record as you can't put a harddrive into them. Supported by various images except the openvix image as they class these boxs as clones (which they are not).

Opena-tv is the main image for the box and is a far better image in my opinion.

I have 3 Zgemmas myself, a H1 H.2H and H5 they are combo boxs and all working perfect on the opena.tv image 6.0 image

No! you would not even the cheaper H.2H is perfectly adequate for both Cable and IPTV reception and both can be run side by side.

What image will I need to make IPTV and vermin both work on same box at same time? Is there any instructions available on how to flash and load these images on Zgemma boxes?
