Default Download: 2011-2012 Kia Sorento 95910-1U100 and 1U000 - Clear Dump

Here is a password free, clear file for the below module:

    2011-2012 Kia Sorento
    Part Number: 95910-1U100 and 1U000
    Chip/Processor: MAC7242

This is the 32KB Data Flash portion of memory, read by Carprog.

Will work by directly programming this file to your module, no need to program VIN, WCS, etc. DIRECT PROGRAM TO YOUR MODULE

Just a simple thanks or rep will be appreciated.

Strange I've checked on at least 5 and never had a problem. I have given to others and they reported it working also.

And SRS unit with same numbers of KIA have different number of manufactured:
    95910-1U100_XM_611186400_MAC7242
    95910-1U100_XM_620755700_MAC7242 for example.

Hi, archive is ok. you must use WinRAR v3.5 and higher to unpack. 7zip may also work. But I archive all my uploads with WinRAR and recommend same program to unpack.

Only main part number 95910-1Uxxx is important on these

Default Did not work for me

It might work with 1U000 but not with 1U100.
After loading the file via CarProg Im getting B1620 - Internal Fault of the module.

Again, may be its because Im testing on the table but usually this error stays.
    Picture below.

Last night I got to the bottom of this problem. And finally fixed the module.

It has "No Error" message and the SRS light is OFF.
I also tested the SRS module functions and everything looks OK.

Please read what I did if you had the same B1620 error after loading the file. I will start from the beginning:
    1. I removed the module from the car and flashed it ON MY DESK by Carprog with Kia Sorento - 95910-1U100 or 1U000 - NoCrash.rar file and B1620 appeared
    2. Used a paid service to clear the module because I needed to deliver the car last night, loaded the file and had the same B1620
    3. I loaded original file back and guess what, B1620 was still there. I could not "clear" or erase it.
    4. Dropped the module back to the car (with original file loaded on my desk) and connected all the plugs
    5. Connected my scanner and could not believe it, B1620 was there still and I could not erase it
    6. Re-flashed it again with original file while its in the car, Crash data appeared but B1620 went away
    7. Loaded Kia Sorento - 95910-1U100 or 1U000 - NoCrash.rar file back into the module
    8. Turned OFF the ignition, turned it back ON and ta-da, SRS light turned OFF, I did not even have to clear the errors.

Here is my verdict in this case: Kia Sorento - 95910-1U100 or 1U000 - NoCrash.rar file works well but IT NEEDS TO BE LOADED WHILE MODULE IS IN THE CAR.
If the module it being tested on the bench it will not work and it will "lock" the module with B1620 and other errors along.
    Thank you!

    Great writeup!
I guess every time I have programmed this file to these vehicles I have always programed in car so that is why I have never seen the b1620 error.

Thanks for the posting your detailed results

WinRAR is the best for compression and decompression. Is the standard for all scene release groups and the likes. Just make sure you use latest version...

What software are you using to flash the module? I need to flash my airbag module (2011 Kia Sorento), but have not done this sort of thing before. I'm looking at purchasing an Openport 2.0 from tactrix.com, but the ECUFlash software does not have my vehicle listed as being supported. Appreciate any advice/guidance you can provide.

I realize this post is quote old but it lines up perfectly with what I am looking for.
