I read 1L59W MC9S12DG128 and edited the mileage location but then dash shows --------km DATA ERROR.
I wrote back original file but still showing -------km
Attached is original reading please can someone help me with this.

I also tried with another 1L59W processor with original flash and eeprom files loaded but still the same.
Any advise on how i can solve this please.
Send the car for diagnosis and listen to what they say
The problem i have is the customer brought the loose cluster to me to do odometer correction. I power the cluster up on the bench and all was working including the odometer reading and after i read 1L59W and edit mileage locations now can not get it right even when i reload his original file.
I have tried about 6 other files on it but still remains with ---------km and ALERT NO DATALINK

install cluster back in car and mileage should be reading correctly
When i power up on my bench it was all ok showing kms and buzzer was working but after reading with Xprog now kms shows-------km and ALERT NO DATALINK
Dash has to communicate with BCM in some Trucks to read correct mileage again. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose
