Even the most basic Zgemma H.2H will suffice for what you need

If your going to use one of the first gen zgemma like the h2 or 2s for iptv I'd advise a lightweight build such as openpli. I've found openatv 6.0 way to system intensive to stream iptv consistently. Whereas on pli 4.0 the same iptv streams are almost faultless.

    Thanks all for your suggestions.

I went with the H5 but it seems a bad choice as I have ordered a second box and the turner does not seem up to scratch due to the image distortion, its completely unusable.

Might just have to go back to one of the early gen ones.

Use Zgemma H5-2TC it has single sat tuner and twin Cable Tuners. You can get one easily for ?100 and it does decent job. Flash it with Whooshbuild you would like it

Thanks for the suggestions, I have bought the standard H5 boxes from 2 seperate sellers on ebay and both had serious image distortion, see attached pictures.

You reckon the H5.2TC has a better tuner?

If those images are on fta broadcast you need to be checking your cables/connections

Even if they were not on fta you need to check your connection (as mentioned) as that looks like bad signal.

agreed if on cable how old is cabling and what splitters in use, you might need to post a picture of cables and splitters and any attenuators fitted?

Thanks for all your time to respond, What I also forgot to mention is that I have a Vu+ Cable USB tuner which I use on my existing VuSolo2 box using the same Vir Cable. Works 100% Perfectly on all channels fta or otherwise, so this distortion is only being experienced on this Zgemma H5 boxes I have tried. I have also used the same cables to setup a zgemma h2 with ybrid tuner works perfectly fine.

Cabling was installed about 6 months ago. and here is the splitter in use which like I said works perfectly with my Cable USB tuner and on older generation zgemma cable boxes.

What S/R are you getting on each box ?

If good on the VU & crap on the Zge
disconnect the VU see if the other then works ok

My S/R is 22% works perfect on my Solo

ahh the wrong splitter again as vm use a 5-1000mhz one and your one will let in interference, and what type quality of cables in use might also be bad, interesting as a better quality built box has no issues.
