2012 skoda octavia combi RS 2.0 TDI CR ECU file

Hi all,


My car is 2012 skoda octavia combi RS 2.0 TDI CR, this engine code is CEGA and ECU is EDC17CP14.
I would like to read the ECU file and I have KESS V2 and MPPS V16 both are China clone.
There are few information can be found in Google, so does someone have any experience in this ECU?

Can you read the id or the file of the ecu with your kess? I could read cp14 with my. So you can try to read over obd or you open the ecu and do it with kess and the tricore adapter. Normal after 06/2009 there sould be tprotect, but maybe you got luck.

Thanks for your reply, I can't read the id or ECU file by KESS, I don't know how to read it with tricore adapter I never do this before.
Do you have any SOP be referred?

You find the SOP in the help files of kess. But when your kess cant read the id of ecu you sould rework it.

Today I have tried 2.08 version, but the KESS don't let me read anything.
I thought need to open cover of ECU to read file for tuning.

I have a 2010 tdi edc17cp14 with a bad ecu and i want to clon it, i can read it on my ktag on booth mode, and it asc me to patch it, when i do it writes fine but the ecu dont work on the car
