    2011 Jetta. Need to add key. Do I need to delete immo ?

    I know Tcode allows you to add 1 key with out erasing others. So erase all is Not required.

    Is that what your asking?

    Yes. But I'd I want to add more keys for example than I need to erase immobilizer ?

    Id say safer to just add one at a time unless all keys lost.

    You can add 8 keys total to VW (VDO NEC).

    No....

    Service mode if using AVDI. Takes 60 seconds, or the car never starts again. One of the two.


    Never used TCode for these.

    I wasnt thinking of it being nec cluster but in that case:
    tcode does have new cable for them to enter service mode and add keys But I havent tried it yet.


    id reccomend saving abs coding with vcds and eeprom a backup up from 24c64 first.
